Educational
shows are presented from our portable stage because
they are done in school auditoriums or gyms. There
are shows on drug abuse and self-esteem, smoking
prevention, recycling, AIDS and bullying... and we
can create a show on any subject for a modest
creative fee. Our
back-pack puppet show consists of Professor Mysto
and his wonder assistant Ralph. Like all our shows
it is highly interactive and improvisational, with
puppets and audience members doing magic tricks.
It's fun for fairs and other outdoor venues where
the stage can wander around entertaining all who
come near. There's our
Bun-ra-ku puppet show where the puppeteers are
dressed in black so that the puppets, with hands,
mouths and feet all moving realistically, seem to
be on their own. Our show is called Babba Yagga and
the Magician. First an old grandma tells the
audience a European folk tale. Then a Magician
performs a magic show. For kids 4
to 8 we have a delightful character named Toby. A
shy, stuffed teddy bear who comes to life with the
aid of strings. This adorable marionette plays his
tape recorder, dances, skates, balances on a big
ball, sits in his rocking chair, and eventually
falls asleep in his own little bed.
